What does the role look like?

Are you policy or data driven & enjoy working with stakeholders? We’re recruiting an exciting Supply Chain Compliance Lead for our Actuation business.

We’re looking for this role to be able to build relationships across our Supply Chain teams, driving Governance & policy. We’re open to background & you may not have supply chain experience. You will need a data driven mindset, excellent interpersonal skills that allows you to influence at all levels & be able to know what good practice looks like!

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

  • Establish and maintain the compliance of all Actuation Supply Chain policies, procedures and forms to reflect the needs at a Collins level and in accordance with the relevant industry procedures (including, AS9100, CMS).

  • Perform ad-hoc checks and audits to ensure compliance to such procedures are maintained across group. Create and implement a road map to ensure those audit findings are closed out.

  • Work with HR and the local teams to align job roles with the required compliance expectations.

  • Maintain, monitor and update the Military Process Manual, focusing on areas including, but not limited to, US Flowdown of FAR and DFARS and other contractual requirements.

  • Provide coordination between the Global Trade group and supply chain, to enable Global Trade to obtain the necessary information from the wider supply chain team and facilitate Global Trade’s review and approval of documentation against export and import regulations.

  • Supply Chain focal point for Texport approvals and xClass administration.

  • Monitoring and responding to ad-hoc requests from local and central management team.

  • Work with the business processes team and wider supply chain function to identify where improvements can be made to existing processes and procedures.

  • Identify and lead applicable updates to existing Procurement and Compliance Manuals and Briefing Documents/Standard Works across the sites where necessary.

Essential skills:

  • Process driven, analytical governance mindset

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to influence & change behaviours at all levels

  • Previous experience in a compliance role

  • Ability to travel to European sites

Desirable skills:

  • Supply chain experience would be helpful but necessary

  • Ability to be detail orientated but also have bigger picture thinking

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Engineering or Manufacturing experience would be advantageous

  • Good Microsoft skills (Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Fantastic interpersonal skills
